the Stuckist Photographers were founded in December
2003 by Larry Dunstan and Andy Bullock
sometime mid 2003 Larry and Andy were introduced at a
meeting at the Stuckism International gallery in Shoreditch,
east London. this meeting was instigated by Charles Thomson,
co-founder of the Stuckism movement and the London
Stuckist painters.
at this time it became apparent they shared an approach to
their work and an ideology that is best expressed in
the Remodernist Manifesto a Stuckist document written by
Charles Thomson and Billy Childish (first published 2000).
the following months saw the origination and refinement
of The Stuckist Photographers Manifesto published for the
first time here on this website.
