'Experiment in monozygosis - two' 2003
Andy Bullock has made several self portraits over the years. These have often
been photographs (click to view) that he has used in conceptual works in his
'word pictures' style - however some have been drawings, as opposite.
He studied at art school in Cornwall and although his work these days is
almost always photographic/film based he nevertheless retains a connection to
the fundemental process of 'making marks on paper'.
His philosophy is very much one of inclusiveness. He respects no boundaries
of creative process and in the true manner of the Stuckist ethos embraces
everything.
'The stuckist photographer may also be an artist and an artist may also
be a stuckist photographer' - see manifesto
